APHA brings together leaders from across the private hospital sector to discuss the ever-changing health landscape in Australia.
From 3-5 April, CEO, Dr Karen Luxford, and Manager - Customer Services, Therese Cooke, attended the Australian Private Hospitals Association (APHA) 39th National Congress in Adelaide. APHA brings together leaders from across the private health sector to discuss the ever-changing health landscape in Australia.
New models of care, workforce challenges, virtual hospitals and quality data reporting, were amongst the topics of focus for this years’ APHA Congress. Issues such as technology advances and cyber security, as well the risks or benefits they pose were discussed through panel sessions, debates and plenaries.
ACHS was pleased to be attending our first face-to-face conference in two years with colleagues from the peak industry body representing the private hospital sector. It was great to connect with ACHS member hospitals and to discuss ACHS's partnership approach to quality improvement, our membership and services with Congress attendees.
