Introduced by popular demand, the Understanding Short Notice Assessment training sessions are now open for registration.
In July 2023, the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC), announced the hospital and health care assessment environment will change from an announced prepared assessment to one which is a short lead in time (24 business hours), assessing the delivery of care and the supporting infrastructure in real time.
Your feedback since the introduction of Short Notice Assessment has been heard, prompting the Improvement Academy to develop a short course to address your concerns and help you prepare for a Short Notice Assessment.
About this training session
This training session complements the resources provided by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC), helping you consolidate your understanding of the Accreditation Scheme, the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards (2nd edition, 2021), and the everyday evidence you need to have on hand during an assessment.
