New Executive Director, Corporate Services

ACHS welcomes Aisling Forrest as our new Executive Director, Corporate Services.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Aisling Forrest as our new Executive Director, Corporate Services in late October, as we farewelled Dr Lena Low for her retirement. 

Aisling brings significant experience working across healthcare leadership roles. Prior to AHCS, Aisling worked as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Sydney Health Partners. She has over 17 years’ experience working in NSW Health and worked in roles where she provided leadership and direction for Corporate Services functions to ensure the establishment of the contemporary standards for business services, financial management, governance, human and IT strategies.

Along with Management and Change Management qualifications, Aisling holds a Master of Science, Health Informatics.  She has led executive level corporate functions across health agencies, medical/health research organisations and clinical environments.  Aisling has also led large and diverse teams to deliver complex programs of work across NSW, particularly within the Cancer Institute NSW where she held various roles including Acting Director, Cancer Services and Information Division and the Chair of the National AHRA (Australian Health Research Alliance) Operations Group.

It is a great pleasure to welcome Aisling to our Executive Team and we also wish Lena all the best for her retirement. 

As of 17 November, Linda O’Connor will be our Executive Director, National Business & Development with a portfolio that now includes the Assessor Division.
