ACHS Improvement Academy Director, Associate Professor Bernie Harrison joined Adjunct Professor Kylie Ward, CEO Australian College of Nursing (ACN) at the ACN Mid-Career Nursing Program, last month in Melbourne. Prof Ward and her team are inspired to increase the recognition of nurses and women in society, with the ACN now Australia’s beacon for Nurse Leadership.
Prof Harrison delivered the first day of the program with a workshop on Leadership and Governance for quality improvement and patient safety and how successful implementation of the National Model Clinical Governance Framework is an enabler of success.
