ACHS Improvement Academy can help provide practical skills, knowledge and expertise to improve quality of care.
At ACHS we are deeply committed to improving outcomes and we are focused on providing all clinicians and health leaders with the skills and tools they need to continuously improve their provision of care and services for patients/consumers and their families.
We offer quality training experiences through our Improvement Academy, providing practical skills, knowledge and expertise to improve the safety and quality of care. The Improvement Academy is run by an expert team which includes passionate, subject matter experts in quality improvement, patient safety, clinical governance, leadership and person-centred care.
Last year, we had the privilege of hosting four international experts on the topic of Quality and Safety in our ACHS Masterclass series, free and exclusive to our Members.
The Masterclass series brought together more than 2400 participants from our member organisations across Australia and overseas, and was packed with thought-provoking insights into a range of prevailing discussions in health care.
The recordings for these Masterclass sessions are now available to our Members on our website (login required, click here to access) or see your ACHS primary contact for access.
We also offer public training for all healthcare professionals, both ACHS Members and non-members. These are offered online or on-site across Australia. Spots fill up quickly, so check out the upcoming sessions and book online here.
If your organisation requires specific training, or you wish to upskill your people in a particular area, you can request customised training, where a trainer will come on-site to a location of your choice, or deliver it online. Workshops can be customised to your organisation to meet its contextual needs. This allows multiple staff from a single organisation to be trained simultaneously, creating greater opportunities for knowledge transfer to drive change.
