Mandatory Short Notice Assessment

ACHS is committed to supporting healthcare organisations in relation to the commencement of mandatory short notice assessments, announced by The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission).

Mandatory short notice assessments to NSQHS Standards will commence from July 2023.

Existing announced and voluntary short notice assessments will cease from that time for all Australian hospitals and day procedure services.
